Disrupt Sports and The Loop hosted a “Design a Surf Board’ competition. My entry was a visual portrail of the surfer philosophy ‘being one with the waves.’ I created an ocean inspired colour palette to bring attention and focus to the natural movements of the sea. Supporting the philosophy an icosahedron pattern has been included. Greek philosopher Plato associated the icosahedron with the element of water and it has been used to signify the characteristics of water; movement, flow and change.


This design placed first in the competition and was sold by Disrupt Sports Australia.
